Meeting called to order at 5:02 p.m. by Chair Dianne McKinley. All Board Members attending. No changes to the agenda.
Consent agenda. Minutes - Regular meeting, June 26, 2025
Ted moved, Terri seconded, all approved the minutes of 6/26/25. Add Fred Crowe to the list of those receiving the meeting minutes.
Friends of the Pool - Fred Crowe
No attendees at FotP meetings. 2nd Monday a 4:30 pm at Delany Bldg. Next meeting 8/11 at the Delany Building, 4:30 pm.
• Swim lessons going great. Jeremy Wheatley attended last FotP meeting. Chuck Eaton wants to help with engineering issues for a new pool.

• Grant/Capital Campaign consultant - Katie. Exploring big grants. Kol Medina's wife (Elissa Watson) has offered to help. She's the CEO of the Walla Walla Schools Foundation.
Financial Management Policy - Draft review
Pool/Bathhouse plans

Dianne HAS the original plans for the bathhouse and shared with Lyle Smith.
Katie moves to hire an outside building inspector, Ted 2nd. Motion passed. No bid is required since the estimate is under $5,000.00.
If we can't raise the funds, a capital campaign, why not consider a bond, USDA loan, WA State etc. Could the annual levy service the debt? We need to stay on track for a pool/bathhouse/mechanical building/upgrade plumbing, etc.
Posters, promotional materials should be retained and shared as time goes on.
Consider displays for National Night Out, Columbia County Fair. Denise Hoon is an expert for retaining and sharing pool photos, especially old photos.
• Approved Resolution for this fall ballot 0.20/$1000 valuation FOR/AGAINST statements for the pool DUE AUGUST 5 to the Auditors office.
• Written Statement due August 12, 2025.
Next meeting Thursday, August 29, 2025. Invite Elissa Watson, CEO, Walla Walla Public School Foundation, Kol's (BMCF) wife.
Katie moved, Ted seconded and all approved to adjourn the meeting at 6:45 pm.
