Special Board Meeting 

Thursday, September 3, 2025 

Columbia County Fire District #3 

Conference Room 

Meeting called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chair Dianne McKinley. Dianne McKinley, Ted  Lowe, Terri Hessler, Lisa Naylor, Katie Leid and guest Jordyn Lowe attending. 

Jordyn is displaying our “new” website, accessible with a sleek QR code. YEA!  daytonpublicpool.com. 

Jordyn asks for $1000 for the set up and $300/month for maintenance. She’ll train two  members to access and add materials to the website. 

We (as a Board) need to let the public know “we have discontinued our professional  relationship with Cole Massey.” 

The Board explains how we’d like to have meeting minutes, resolutions, policies. Lots of photos with folks in a pool. 

QR code is key! Contact Us form it goes to daytonpoolcommissioners.com to our  organization. The site can move to a one-stop-shop for the pool is up and running. 

Facebook and Instagram will be created once the Board decides to move forward. Goal: keep the algorithms in front of users….chain-link algorithms! Keep information  popping up for all to see! 

Katie moves to “hire” Jordyn Lowe to create and maintain a website for  daytonpublicpool.com for $1,000.00 for set-up. Jordyn requires maintenance and  subscription fees for the domain of $300.00/month for our site and serving as marketing  manager. 

An additional fee for the site; approximately $29/month would be assessed in October. Seconded by Terri, approved by all. Ted is recused himself due to nepotism. 

Total $1,300 for the first month.

Jordyn can send forms to us to imbed information to the website. Jordyn can create a  logo for us, too. 

Thursday evening the site will be correct and ready to go. FB and Instagram, too.  This work is being completed for the 150th anniversary of Columbia County and the Fair.
